VK swings to IFRS net profit of 3.6 bln rbl in Apr–Jun
MOSCOW, Aug 11 (PRIME) -- Russian Internet company VK posted a net profit of 3.616 billion rubles in April–June against a net loss of 4.977 billion rubles a year earlier, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said on Thursday in a statement.
Adjusted revenue rose by 4% to 31.160 billion rubles. Revenue increased by 11% to 32.836 billion rubles.
Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) decreased by 37% to 4.206 billion rubles.
The adjusted net loss widened to 3.435 billion rubles from 2.232 billion rubles a year earlier.
“Given the current level of visibility and uncertainty, the company refrains from providing forward guidance and outlook,” VK said.
